Diversity, Inclusion & Social Equity Committee was focused on fostering professional mentor-mentee relationships between industry pioneers of all backgrounds and their fellow CCIA Members from minority communities. It also worked to encourage CCIA Members from minority communities to join other committees, volunteer for committee chair positions, and run for election to the CCIA Board. The committee worked with companies to diversify the ranks of their C-level executives, in-house legal departments, and upper management so that California’s cannabis industry reflects the diversity of its consumer base.

Spearheaded a small sub-committee dedicated to increasing the awareness for social equity cannabis operators of banking options available to them, and also engage directly with financial institutions to encourage those companies to support and prioritize social equity cannabis businesses in gaining a relationship with financial institutions.

Land Use Advisory Subcommittee where prior to the issuance of county wide cannabis rules and regulations we worked to create cannabis policy suggestions for the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors. 

Cities Subcommittee tracking developments and spearheading participation in local cities meetings related to cannabis policy. Liaisoned back to the Sonoma County Grower Alliance.
